San Jose, CA, March 2, 2026 – AppZen, the leader in autonomous finance operations, today announced the appointment of Nick Butrym as Chief Revenue Officer. In this role, Butrym will lead AppZen’s global revenue organization across sales, pre-sales, and the partner ecosystem, with a focus on accelerating growth and expanding customer lifetime value, as enterprises adopt AI agents for finance operations.
Butrym will drive go-to-market execution and help build the scalable architecture required to support predictable growth and measurable business outcomes across new and existing customers.
“Enterprises are moving beyond automation toward fully autonomous finance operations,” said Anant Kale, CEO of AppZen. “Nick brings a rare combination of operational discipline and enterprise GTM leadership. He has repeatedly built revenue engines that scale efficiently while improving customer outcomes. As adoption of agentic AI accelerates, his leadership will help us expand globally and deepen the value we deliver to our customers.”
Butrym joins AppZen from HungerRush, where he served as Chief Revenue Officer, scaling the company’s revenue engine by operationalizing processes, strengthening channel leverage, and improving expansion performance across the customer base. Previously, he held senior leadership roles at PTC, ServiceNow, and EMC.
“Finance teams are under pressure to do more with fewer resources while maintaining control and compliance,” said Butrym. “AppZen is uniquely positioned to solve that challenge by enabling autonomous execution, not just automation. I’m excited to help customers realize measurable outcomes faster and to help scale a durable growth engine around the company’s agentic AI platform.”
The appointment comes as global enterprises increasingly adopt AI-driven finance solutions to reduce operating costs, improve accuracy, and scale accounts payable, expense audits, and compliance without adding headcount. AppZen’s platform executes complex finance workflows end-to-end with agentic AI that includes built-in governance, auditability, and security. With it, CFOs are halving OpEx, automating work by 80% or more, and rapidly increasing ROI.
