AppZen named Rising Star in Forbes Cloud 100 list

by AppZen September 13, 2018

We’re excited to share that we’ve been named one of 20 Rising Stars as part of Forbes 2018 Cloud 100, the definitive list of the top 100 private cloud companies in the world, published by Forbes in collaboration with Bessemer Venture Partners and Salesforce Ventures.

The 20 Rising Stars represent budding, high-growth, and innovative cloud companies poised to join the Cloud 100 ranks, with industry buzz and momentum catching the attention of the finance community.

“It’s fantastic to be recognized by Forbes and its prestigious list, one that last year included leaders like Dropbox, Stripe, Slack, and DocuSign,” said our CEO Anant Kale. “We’re proud of what we’ve been able to achieve scaling our business and look forward to more successes and announcements in the months ahead.”

Since launching our auditing technology only 18 months ago, we’ve already been able to work with companies like Amazon, Citi, Charles Schwab, and Salesforce to automate their expense auditing process through and review 100% of their expense reports in real time, decreasing fraud and noncompliance tenfold.

“This year’s list of 20 Rising Stars represent some of the brightest minds in the trillion-dollar software industry,” said Byron Deeter, top cloud investor and partner at Bessemer Venture Partners. “We have already seen nine past Rising Stars winners go on to become members of the exclusive Cloud 100, and it is likely that the next wave of great cloud companies will come from this list. Each of the 2018 Rising Stars deserves to be recognized for their innovation and bright futures.”

The Forbes 2018 Cloud 100 and 20 Rising Stars lists are published online and will appear in the September 2018 issue of Forbes magazine.

This award comes hot on the heels of further industry recognition, with AppZen being named one of four Cool Vendors by Gartner in Procure-to-Pay applications. Read more about it here.
