Some employees assume no one will notice expenses made for personal items on weekends, such as an extra meal or side trip added to a weekday business trip. The Weekend Expenses Check Base Model examines transactions such as meals, taxis, and entertainment expenses to determine whether they occurred during the weekend. With this data, your auditors can easily verify that flagged alerts are authorized business expenses and not personal expenditures. By default, if these expenses occur on a weekend day, the model will flag them as medium risk.
